The goal of this website was to develop a real estate website that showed the many advantages of having Raymond Lau as your real estate agent.

The concept for Raymond Lau's website came from 2 meetings held at our client's office. Raymond had a goal of presenting to potiential and current customers a Real Estate website that displayed his services and what he has to offer as well as standard real estate information.

Because Raymond has strong ties to the Chinese community, he wanted to accent this point on his website.

Raymond's site has a lot to offer. Things like a mortgage calculator, current up to date links and ever-changing housing listings keep people coming back.

Raymond was presented with 2 initial graphical designs for his site. The graphic portion of the site was completed by our partner Sphear Media. The resulting selection was a composite of the 2 designs presented. The site is based in Calgary so we tried to give it a Calgary look through the use of graphics and content.

The technology used here is ASP.NET 2.0 with an underlying MSAccess database.

An independent contractor was hired to help with the special Chinese font on Raymond's Profile Page.

Updating for Ryamond's site is all done through email. Images and changes are sent to our team and are up on the site within 24 hours. Updates can happen quickly because the site is database driven.

Management of the domain name as well as hosting services are provided by our team as well.

The future of this website is bright. We have recently moved the site to a new hosting service preferred by Lost Dog Developments, Go Daddy. The new hosting service offers a lot more in terms of technology. The whole listings portion of Raymond's site have been updated to ASP.NET 2.0 and powered by a MSAccess.

The housing market is an ever changing facet of our economy; this site captures that and aims to stay abreast of current trends. More and more people are using the web as a research tool for real estate and this site allows potential customers to find what they are looking for.
